wayfinding project

For this project we were instructed to create a kiosk and wayfinding for a location of our choice. I chose the Casco Bay Lines, a ferry terminal in Portland, Maine. After careful thought and consideration, I realized that most instructional wayfindings were not aesthetically pleasing. This realization heavily influenced my design, an informational guide to help visitors and tourists get from one location to another whilst also being able to see ample sights around Casco Bay. In addition to the project parameters, I chose to create a mural/sign to help advertise my brand.
